Well, tonight should be interesting, to say the least.

The San Jose Sharks are down not one, but two defenders in Erik Karlsson and Radim Simek, who were both injured in Saturday’s loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Fredrik Claesson will make his debut on the blue line, paired with Nicolas Meloche, who is playing just his second game this season. Marcus Sorensen will come out of the lineup.

Earlier this month, the Sharks played their first two-game series against the Anaheim Ducks, splitting the series with both games going to a shootout. The Ducks sit fifth in the West Division, going 3-1-1 so far in the month of February.
