How to Watch

Start time: 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET
Free ticket registration and access to the stream can be found here.

You can also tune in to an audio stream of broadcasters Dan Rusanowsky, Bret Hedican and Nick Nollenberger, available through the Sharks + SAP Center App. There will be no admittance for the general public at SAP Center.

The scrimmage will not be a typical NHL game — while there will be three 20-minute periods with a 15-minute intermission between each, there will be no special teams. Instead, all penalties will result in a penalty shot. Regardless of score, the event will conclude with a five-round shootout.

The broadcast will be interactive, taking fan questions via Twitter and featuring “various players, personalities and Sharks hockey staff” providing commentary, per the release.
