Let’s be honest: Edmonton isn’t very good. In fact, they’re pretty bad. About the only positive for the Oilers is it looks like they’ll have a nice new and very rich local owner soon. There’s money in them there Rexalls, apparently.
Given Edmonton’s porous defense and San Jose’s less than stellar offense, this will probably work out to be an average game in terms of goals scored. Or something like that. At any rate, this is one of those games the Sharks should win. Which guarantees nothing, but hey.
