Game Sixty-One Wrapup: San Jose Sharks 3, Philadelphia Flyers 1
First off, sorry about being so scattershot with posts. Been super-busy with the NASCAR race this weekend, although a quick glance out the window doesn't give much hope of any cars hitting the track today. Ah well.
Anyway, the Sharks found a perfect antidote to their losing streak: play a team with a worse streak than yours. Although there was definitely a "here we go again" moment when the Flyers scored with six seconds left in the second period to tie the game at one, no one panicked and for a decidedly pleasant change of pace it was Los Tiburones who applied successful pressure in the third period to put things away. But then again, how could they miss when the scoring machine that is Douglas Murray put one in the net?
Hey, it's a win. Time to keep it going.
