[Open Thread] Game Eighty: Los Angeles Kings at San Jose Sharks

Since there's basically nothing left to talk about as far as the Kings are concerned, let me throw this out there. Are the Sharks the new 49ers? I don't mean the current sad sack of a team, but rather the Bill Walsh / Joe Montana / Steve Young era team. Back then, the season was defined in very simple terms: Super Bowl or bust. Should the Sharks be viewed the same way? Will anything short of a championship this season be a letdown? Just wondering what people are thinking.
