Despite how in the last two meetings between these teams the Sharks treated the Coyotes like an anvil treats Wile E., this game could be dangerous. No team enjoys being humiliated at home, and the last time San Jose visited Phoenix (all right, Glendale) they walloped Wayne Gretzky's boys to the tune of 6-0.
Also, since that game the Coyotes have acquired the services of a legitimate #1 goalie in the presence of Ilya Bryzgalov, who has had issues on the road but thus far at home with his new team has been lights out with a 3-0 record and a 1.00 GAA.
There's also the dreaded "which team found its way from San Jose" factor. Not that the Sharks have been prone to collectively mailing it in on occasion because they believe their own press releases about how they can beat anyone in the NHL by barely lifting a finger, mind you... (sigh)
Anyway, here's hoping Los Tiburones both show up and stay put for all three periods tonight.
