Brent Burns shoots the puck very, very hard. So hard in fact that a “pass” that came way off the ice and was deflected by Joe Thornton smashed through the curved glass at the end of the Islanders bench. You can see the damage for yourself below.
Yikes. Luckily nobody was hurt on the shot. Burns is one guy whose shot I would not be blocking as an NHL player*
