FTF partners with the Guardian Project to give away Sharks jersey and graphic novel

In conjunction with the Guardian Project, Fear The Fin is happy to announce an opportunity to win an official San Jose Sharks jersey and Guardian Project graphic novel. Leading up to the All-Star game on January 30th, The Guardian Project has been giving fans an opportunity to vote on which superhero will be revealed via their Facebook page. And although the Shark was revealed last week, there’s still a distinct opportunity for you to make an impact on the voting for which Guardian will be revealed next.

Terms of entry are simple. In order to be eligible, you must be 18 years or older and reside within the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) and have access to Twitter. During the first and second intermission of tomorrow night’s game against the Vancouver Canucks, I will ask two trivia questions on Twitter concerning the San Jose Sharks– the theme will be similar to the one that was asked last Thursday when we gave away a Guardian Project poster, so make sure to brush up on your Sharks history and statistics.

In order to be considered for the prizes however, a step must be taken before the game begins. By 7:00 PM PST on Thursday night (no later), tweet the following message from your Twitter account to make yourself eligible to win the prizes:

RT 4 chance to win an @NHL Jersey and Guardian Project Graphic Novel via #FTFGiveaway. Vote now! http://on.fb.me/fAD7nT

Failure to retweet this message by Thursday at 7:00 PST will make you ineligible for the prizes. I cannot stress this enough. And make sure to vote on which guardian will be revealed next on The Guardian Project’s Facebook page.

In the first intermission, the prize will be The Guardian Project’s graphic novel. The second intermission will feature the Sharks jersey– you choose the player and name you would like to receive. If an individual wins both trivia prizes, he or she will select their first choice and the runner-up of the corresponding question will receive the prize that is left.

For example, an individual named Joe answers both trivia questions correctly before anyone else. Being a huge comic book fan, Joe elects to choose The Guardian Project graphic novel as his prize. Since the graphic novel was being given away in the first intermission, the second place finisher in the second intermission (when the Sharks jersey is being given away) would receive the jersey. And so on and so forth.

For more information on Stan Lee’s recent line of NHL-themed superheroes, check them out on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and their official site.

Grab your stats book, give it a good read in the next twenty four hours, make sure to retweet the message provided before 7:00 PM on Thursday, and drink some Liquid Luck before the game begins.

Because a graphic novel or Sharks jersey could be yours.
