In the second period against the St. Louis Blues, the Sharks were given two back to back power play opportunities. While the first was successfully killed by the Blues, the Sharks made good on the second go with an absolute bomb from Erik Karlsson.

Karlsson had three shots on goal in the first period. His goal opened scoring on the night and set off a string of two more Sharks goals from Joe Pavelski and Evander Kane over the next four minutes.
The Sharks currently lead the Blues 3-0 in the second period.
