It seems as though every morning before a Sharks game, people are waiting on pins and needles for the official starter announcement. Will it be Niemi? Will it be Stalock? Who knows!
Well, to help with that process, hours upon hours of very scientific research was undertaken in order to create the definitive method of determining who is the starter before head coach Todd McLellan even announces it. To simplify the complicated technical terminology, we have condensed our findings into a chart.
We hope this clarifies things for everyone, and allows you to spend your mornings doing less stressful endeavors than worrying about who starts in goal, such as walking on tightropes or playing goalie for Team Russia.
