#NeverForget

Definitely a melancholy day at Fear The Fin land headquarters today as Jamie McGinn was traded to the Colorado Avalanche.

McGinn was truly one of our favorite players to watch over the course of his career with San Jose, and a forward who seems to be on the right track in terms of meeting the potential many felt he had when he was selected 36th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

His brand of physicality, combined with his scoring prowess this season, was an excellent addition to the third line and allowed San Jose to do multiple things with that part of their roster. He should fit in well with the young core of the Avs this season as well as into the future.

We wish Jamie the best of luck in Colorado and hope he finds nothing but success.
