The Winnipeg Jets make their one and only visit to SAP Center this season to take on the San Jose Sharks tonight. The last time these two teams met, the Jets destroyed the Sharks by a score of 8-3 on Oct. 18. It was just one of the Jets’ eight wins to start the season.
Since then, Winnipeg has not let its foot off the gas. The Jets are first in the Central Division with a 22-9-1 record.
Before jumping into the game, let’s take a moment to call out the NHL for some absolute BS. Head Coach Ryan Warsofsky toed the NHL line on Saturday night when he DID NOT say anything to the media about some of the crap calls by the refs during the game against the Utah Hockey Club. In fact, he went out of his way not to comment, drawing the ire of some fans.
However, the NHL still felt fit to fine Warsofsky for something he said in the game. Seriously?

How much you want to bet if Warsofsky knew he was going to be fined, he would have had a lot more choice words for the league and its officiating after the game?
Here’s what he told the media today after practice.
Warsofsky on controlling his emotions

“it's something that I'm trying to get better at. At the same time, I'm passionate. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. Sometimes it gets the best to me, but at the end of the day, I gotta have our players back, and that's not gonna change.”
