Joe Thornton Injured Versus Canucks
An awkward fall against the board could spell trouble for Jumbo and the Sharks
Late in the first period with the Sharks leading the Canucks by two, Joe Thornton fell awkwardly against the boards, appearing to have injured his leg in the process.
The incidence happened in the last three minutes of the first period. Jumbo struggled to get to the bench and was seen limping his way to the dressing room. He has not returned in the second period and the Sharks have stated that his return to the game at this point is questionable.

If the injury is as bad as Jumbo makes it look, the Sharks are going to need more than a witch doctor to make a deep playoff run.
