The Frozen Frenzy is back and the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings are the final game of the lineup. With Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith, Michael Misa and Sam Dickinson playing headliners for tonight’s game, the NHL is looking to highlight some of the league’s younger stars. During the visit to New York this past week, Misa and Dickinson took a trip to the NHL’s headquarters.

Now to the game.
The LA Kings are third in the Pacific Division with a 4-3-3 record. The good news for the Sharks is that even though the Kings are winning, the team has a minus-four goal differential which means a hot goaltender, or a hot pair of young stars could swing a game in the Sharks’ favor tonight.
Los Angeles is led by Adrian Kempe, who has 13 points (5 G, 8 A) in ten games. Kempe also leads with five goals. Quentin Byfield is the young player to watch on the Kings. Byfield has eight points in ten games.
In terms of goaltending, Darcy Kuemper and Anton Forsberg have been splitting time in the net. Kuemper is 2-2-2 this season. He has a 2.78 goals against average and .887 save percentage. Forsberg has a 2-1-1 record. He has a 3.19 goals average and a .894 save percentage.
San Jose Sharks lines tonight
The Sharks look to have John Klingberg back in the lineup after a few games off with an injury. Nick Leddy is still out. The team has called up Patrick Giles after an injury to Adam Gaudette, but he doesn’t look like he will play. According to the Bay Area News Group’s Curtis Pashelka, this is what the lines will likely look like for tonight. It sounds like Yaroslav Askarov gets the start in the net again for the Sharks.
