Logan Couture puts the Sharks up 3-0 in game seven against the Predators

The Sharks failed to score on their second power play of the night, but Logan Couture quickly wiped any memory of that failure from the SAP Center crowd shortly thereafter. Couture put San Jose up 3-0 just two minutes into the second period, absolutely taking the wind out of the sails of the Nashville Predators.

Couture’s goal went unassisted and is his seventh tally of the postseason. He now sits tied for third in the postseason with Vladimir Tarasenko. It’s also worth noting that Joe Pavelski, after his game-opening tally, is tied for first with Nikita Kucherov with nine goals.

You can catch the rest of the Sharks contest on NBC Sports or on NBC Live Extra with a cable subscription. If you can’t catch the game on video, you can follow my tweets over @FearTheFin. Or you can keep breathing into that paper bag. I won’t think any less of you.
