Matt Tennyson recalled by Sharks

San Jose called up the defender Sunday.

The Sharks recalled Matt Tennyson on Sunday, wrapping up the defender's conditioning assignment with the Barracuda. He last played in Friday's playoff loss to the Ontario Reign, recording three shots on goal.

It's unlikely Tennyson will compete for a spot on the Sharks' blue line in the playoffs, but it's great to see him back and healthy. Perhaps he'll be sent back to the Barracuda to help them try to upset Ontario in the first line?
