Mirco Mueller recalled to Sharks

The yo-yo continues for the Swiss defenseman.

General manager Doug Wilson announced Mirco Mueller will rejoin the Sharks. Mueller played in the Oct. 22 game against the Los Angeles Kings and...well, nobody had a good night, so we won't dwell too much on it.

Mueller has one point (an assist) in three games with the San Jose Barracuda this season. He was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NHL draft.

This move is a bit interesting — I assume if he's being called up they plan to dress him, otherwise what's the point? But if he's in the lineup, which defenseman falls out? Matt Tennyson? Does this suggest someone is injured? Can I come up with another question?

Whatever. Welcome back Mueller, I hope you enjoyed your walk from one dressing room to the other. Try not to get lost and all that.

The Barracuda's next game is on Saturday against the San Diego Gulls. You can follow them on Twitter.
