In case you missed it, Joe Thornton picked up right where he left off in the Swiss National League over the weekend. Seven years after scoring 25 points in 14 playoff games for HC Davos, Thornton set up all three goals of a Rick Nash hat trick in the first period of the team's 9-2 romp over David Aebischer's squad.
