NHL 2016 Playoffs odds and ends: Sharks not favored to win the Stanley Cup

While certain statistical models give the Sharks the edge against the St. Louis Blues, Las Vegas does not. The odds below, provided by Bovada, give the Penguins the best shot at winning the Stanley Cup and the Blues the second-best shot. The Sharks 4/1 odds are just a hair better than the Lightning’s odds.

Perhaps more interesting are the odds for the Conn Smythe. I’m not a gambler, but those 50/1 odds for Joe Thornton are at least a little enticing.
