Since the Sharks eliminated the Kings on Friday night, we’ve been sitting around waiting to see both who San Jose would play in the second round and when that series would start. Coming into tonight we knew the Sharks would play on Friday — it was just a matter of where…and who, of course.
Thanks to Nashville’s 2-1 victory, we’ve got our answer. The Sharks will take on the Predators in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Sharks regular season record against the Predators is 1-2 and San Jose’s only win came in a shootout.
