What's with the lack of broadcasts when we play in Phoenix? Check the comments; after idunno723 wakes up from his turkey-induced hibernation he'll let us know where we can watch it online.

The last time San Jose rolled into Phoenix they were coming off a win against Dallas, but proceeded to get outworked for the last 55 minutes of the game and lost 4-2.

Over the last two years Phoenix has given us some problems in general, especially after Ilya Bryzgalov joined the team. The thing is, Mikael Tellqvist has gotten the start two games in a row for the 'Yotes. With a back to backs for Phoenix I would expect Bryzgalov to be in net, but Tellqvist has been playing so well as of late (three goals in two games) it's anybody's guess. I'll post an update later on the starting goaltenders for both teams. My guess is Boucher mans the pipes for the good guys. Makes sense with Nabokov coming off his left knee injury.

Both Boucher and Nabokov have looked damn near unbeatable during the last week. Whoever is rolled out by Sweeney Todd tonight has the FTF seal of approval.

Phoenix's Olli Jokinen had his 397 game start streak broken on Friday, and will be out with a shoulder injury. A good run yes, but that ain't shit compared to Doug Jarvis. The human cyborg played 964 games in a row during his 14 year career.

[Editor's Note]: Remember your SPG Picks for a chance to win a Sharks Banner courtesy of Carrol's Cove.

San Jose was in Phoenix last year. The game was on Versus, and it was a wild one. Things can get crazy in that Phoenix heat (see Nash, Rick). The Sharks ended up losing 5-4 in overtime after falling behind 3-0, but that's not the full reason why I'm hitting the links.

Take a look at the earliest days of my blogging career; the "live thread" I had going on and the pre-game commentary on how the Sharks were playing in an abundance of low-scoring games. It's fairly hilarious.

So much has changed over the last year. Thanks to everyone who has been along for the ride since day one, and all of those at SB Nation who welcomed me with open arms. It truly means a lot.

Prediction: Sharks win 7-0. Goals by Murray (x6) and Marcel Goc (who's looked pretty darn bad the last five or so games). I take a nice long nap.

Go Sharks.

[Update 1:32 PM]: Cheechoo out, Nabokov in. H/T to King David of Working The Corners.
