Pair of power-play goals have San Jose up 2-0

The Sharks scored twice on the man-advantage in the second period to give themselves a 2-0 lead entering the second intermission. Brent Burns opened the scoring with a shot practically from his knees near the left faceoff dot and Joe Pavelski did much of the same, though his tally came from right in front of Jonathan Quick.
