Penguins at Sharks: Lines, game thread and where to watch
Patrick Marleau is back (again)!
Patty’s back!
Less than a week after the San Jose Sharks traded him to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Patrick Marleau returns to SAP Center as the visitor once again.
After two seasons with the Maple Leafs, however, Mr. Shark should be used to playing at SAP Center in colors other than teal.
“You think those experiences [coming in as a Maple Leaf] will help you out a little more,” Marleau said, on being a visitor at SAP Center once again. “Hopefully, I can draw upon that experience to help me this time.”
Anyway, this separation from the Tank should be short-lived, as all reports indicate that Doug Wilson wants Marleau back next year. Marleau, of course, is projected to break Gordie Howe’s all-time games played record of 1,767 games next year: “I think maybe the door is open for me to come back. I would definitely like to play another season, so that would be good.”
