Hockey is back baby! After all summer waiting and a few great days of training camp with some solid competition and great vibes, the Sharks are ready to play the team’s first preseason game of the season. While this is only a small glimpse of what the Sharks are going to get when the team starts the season in a few weeks, also against the Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center for those of you keeping track, it’s a good chance to check out the future of Team Teal.
That’s because this is your chance to check out players like Carson Wetsch, Max Heise, Teddy Mutryn and Joshua Ravensbergen before they’re sent back to their respective junior teams. The kids have all been bringing it in the early parts of camp, as witnessed by our own Annie Moore:
The San Jose Sharks open up preseason against the Vegas Golden Knights tonight at SAP Center. We don’t expect to see a lot of the Sharks’ regulars in the lineup or a lot of the Golden Knights’ regulars, for that matter. For one thing, this is the first preseason game of the season, which means teams are still being hashed out. For another, in the case of the Golden Lnights, veterans tend not to travel in the preseason if they can help it.
