Last Meeting

The Sharks and Maple Leafs last met in March. The Sharks beat them easily by a score of 4-1, with Antti Niemi getting the win and Logan Couture getting the game winning goal. The Sharks also came out on top in the two teams' earlier matchup at SAP Center, that time by a score of 3-1.

Storylines

  • Tomas Hertl could return for the Sharks tonight. We should know after this morning's practice.
  • Martin Jones should get the start in goal for the Sharks after a solid performance against a very good Montreal Canadiens team. His save percentage has been a lot better on the road than at home - hopefully that trend continues tonight. The Maple Leafs will start Garret Sparks.
  • Dainius Zubrus could see one more night on the top line, especially if Hertl isn't playing tonight./
