Quick Bite: Torres ejected as Sharks fall to Ducks in final preseason game

The Sharks iced a very young lineup on Saturday and it showed in a 5-1 loss to the Ducks to close out the preseason. Alex Stalock wasn’t given much help as the Sharks were out shot 39-18 and were sent to the box five times.

A pair of players on the roster bubble were the only scoring factors for the Sharks. Dylan DeMelo was credited with a goal and Nikolay Goldobin had the assist.

Raffi Torres was ejected from the game after delivering an illegal hit to the head of Jakob Silfverberg.

San Jose begins regular season play on Wednesday at Los Angeles.

Goal (Assists): Dylan DeMelo (Nikolay Goldobin)
