Sharks at Avalanche, Jan. 28: Lines, gamethread & how to watch

It’s officially Sasha Szn, as Alexander Chmelevski will make his NHL debut on the San Jose Sharks’ fourth line tonight when the team faces the Colorado Avalanche for the second game of their two-game series. Rookie John Leonard will be serving as a healthy scratch — though having his first professional season after a college hockey stint being this compressed, it’s not necessarily a bad thing to give the kid a night off.

When these team met on Tuesday, the Avalanche put up seven goals on the Sharks, who swapped out Martin Jones for Devan Dubnyk after goal number five. Dubnyk will get the start in net tonight.
