Sharks at Golden Knights, 3/17: Lines, gamethread & how to watch
After 34 saves in Monday’s 2-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, it looks like Devan Dubnyk is taking the reins in net for the San Jose Sharks for now.
The Sharks will need more than goaltending to get through tonight’s rematch. A third period goal from Timo Meier while down 2-0 was the only time the Sharks broke through Vegas’ stifling defense and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. The team put up just 24 shots to Vegas’ 36. They need scoring to have a chance.
John Leonard will step in for Rudolfs Balcers, who is out once again with an upper-body injury. Alex Tuch and Chandler Stephenson will be game-time decisions for Vegas.
