Sharks reassign Danil Yurtaykin to Barracuda

The San Jose Sharks have reassigned forward Danil Yurtaykin to the San Jose Barracuda, the Sharks announced Friday morning.

Yurtaykin played in four games with the Sharks. He did not record any points and only registered two shots on goal. He played a season-low 7:36 in nine shifts a week ago against the Chicago Blackhawks.

This will be Yurtaykin’s first time in the American Hockey League. Yurtaykin has been part of the KHL’s Lokomotiv Yaroslavl system since he was an under-16 player. In 40 games with the Lokomotiv last season, he recorded 10 goals and nine assists for 19 total points.
