The San Jose Sharks will close out their six-game preseason series tonight against the same budding rivals they’ll face at their home opener later this week: the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Sharks may only have one preseason win under their belt, but it appears the front office has seen enough to make several roster cuts already, including re-assigning last season’s fringe players forward Antti Suomela and defenseman Jacob Middleton to the AHL San Jose Barracuda last night. With a 26-man roster, there are still a few decisions to be made before opening night.
Let’s get to it. We’re ready for hockey that matters already.
