While the alternate jersey balance is still firmly weight towards the mediocre “black armor” sweaters, a positive move was made this morning. The Sharks will now wear the Heritage Jerseys five times this season, starting with tonight’s contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Three dates had been announced previously. The dates, in total, are Nov. 3 vs. Columbus, Dec. 1 vs. Pittsburgh, Jan. 7 vs. Detroit, Jan. 18 vs. Ottawa and Feb. 11 vs. Calgary.
The Sharks will wear the Black Armor jerseys eight more times this season. From the press release.
