The San Jose Sharks will play the last game before the Olympic break with the newest member of the team joining them on the ice. Kiefer Sherwood is healthy and ready to play. He’s expected to skate on the top line tonight with Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith. Sherwood has been practicing with the team on this road trip and has looked good, but the Sharks didn’t rush him back. Now, it looks like he’s ready to go.
The Sharks are hoping to close things out on a high note, but it will be a tough task facing one of the toughest teams in the league: the Colorado Avalanche. So far, the Avs have not been kind to San Jose. The Sharks won 3-2 in overtime on Nov. 1, but on Nov. 26, the Avs beat up on the Sharks 6-0. It wasn’t even close.
