The San Jose Sharks along with the rest of the NHL are gearing up for the Frozen Frenzy. It’s an entire night of hockey lined up so fans can, potentially, see every team in the NHL play in the span of about eight hours. For the first time in NHL history, the games will have a staggered start, meaning that no two teams will drop the pucks at the same time. The Sharks will be in Anaheim to help close out the night.
Here are your Frozen Frenzy plans for tonight. 📺

This is the second meeting in about 10 days between the Ducks and the Sharks. The last time the two teams played was on Oct. 12, when the Ducks shut out the Sharks 2-0. Lukas Dostal was excellent, making 30 saves. Vitek Vanecek was also good in net with 28 saves. Dostal is expected to start for the Ducks tonight.
The Ducks game was arguably one of the better games of the season that the Sharks played. Here’s to hoping things get back on track in Anaheim.
According to San Jose Hockey Now’s Sheng Peng, Thomas Bordeleau, Shakir Mukhamadullin and Marc-Edouard Vlasic did not travel with the team.
Forgot to mention earlier, very busy day. Just boarded my flight to LA.

Bordeleau, Mukhamadullin & Vlasic did not travel for this road trip. The first two are closer than Vlasic, but also don’t expect them to surprise and join the road trip at any point.
So they’re all out at…
It also sounds like Macklin Celebrini is out for at least a few more weeks.
As for the Ducks, watch out for Frank Vatrano tonight. He’s likely to get the baby bump in his stats after welcoming a new baby girl into the world.
Frank Vatrano and his wife Rebecca welcomed their second daughter into the world yesterday.
