One night ago he was eye to eye with the Leafs, fighting to stay out the Eastern Conference cellar. Tonight he heads into the ACC on a team that has legitimate Stanley Cup aspirations.

Jackpot.

As mentioned yesterday (go vote in the poll by the way), Niclas Wallin is the newest member of the San Jose Sharks. He’ll probably see limited minutes tonight as he gets used to his teammates– I would assume he’d partner with Leach until Vlasic returns, with that eventually bumping Huskins down to that third pairing.

Giggy’s been on fire since being reunited with Francois Allaire in Toronto– two straight shutouts, the first time that has happened in franchise history. Good stuff.

Alright, time to hit the Omega Four Relay. Priorities, priorities.

Prediction: Sharks win 3-2. Goals by Huskins, Leach, and Wallin.

Go Sharks.
