Sharks vs. Flyers preview: San Jose looking for just second regulation win streak
Flyers come to San Jose having lost nine of their past ten games.
San Jose hasn't won back-to-back games in regulation since their first two games of the season. Coming off a 6-4 win over Anaheim on Saturday, they'll be trying to do just that tonight when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. They'll have to do so without defenseman Matt Tennyson who was scratched for the win against the Ducks after playing his first NHL game in two seasons versus the Calgary Flames last Wednesday. Tennyson was reassigned to Worcester this morning as the Sharks will ice the same blueline that defeated Anaheim. Philadelphia comes into this game having lost 9 of their last 10 and sitting 26th in the league standings. Hopefully the Sharks wont' play down to a terrible opponent this time.

Joe Pavelski scored his first career hat trick, Raffi Torres scored twice in his return from knee surgery and Logan Couture added a pair of goals himself as the Sharks routed the Flyers 7-3 in Philadelphia in their first game after the conclusion of the 2014 Olympic break.
Storylines
- The Punch Line of Scott, Desjardins and Brown appears to be intact heading into tonight as Barclay Goodrow is the Sharks' likely healthy scratch up front joining fellow rookie Mirco Mueller in the press box.
