Storylines

• That Couture guy looked pretty good in his return to the lineup, picking up two assists and setting up Brent Burns’ game-tying goal. It’ll be nice to see more of him in 2016.
• Burns wasn’t penalized for his hit on Chris VandeVelde in Wednesday’s game, and he won’t face any supplementary discipline, either. Good news for a team lacking defensive depth.
