Storylines

• Physical battle: Micheal Haley was called up Wednesday and it wasn't for his stick-handling. This game could be very physical and it's important the Sharks stay out of the penalty box — and better yet, find a way to get on the power play against the Kings.
• No Couture, (probably) no Martin: Against a bad team the Sharks can get away with losing a couple key players, against the ings? Well, San Jose is going to need some breaks to go its way.
• Still the Kings you hate: Don't bury the Kings because of a slow start to the season, they're just as dangerous as they've been the past several years. Goaltending has been a problem for the Kings, so naturally we've got a shutout watch on our hands.
