As the Sharks prepare for their toughest test of the year, Pete Deboer informed the media that Tomas Hertl was not ready to join the team just yet.
DeBoer on Hertl: “Hertl is making progress, getting better every day. Won’t play tonight.” #SJSharks

The beginning of that tweet started so beautifully. I thought, surely, we would be getting a surprise in this penultimate game. Hertl may very well be getting close to returning but until I see it with my own eyes, I will believe that Deboer is playing mind games with the Penguins.
Tonight is going to be a roller coaster ride, isn’t it?
