Last Meeting

The Sharks and Senators last faced off exactly one month ago in Ottawa. The Sharks were on the second half of a back-to-back, and Ottawa capitalized on it with a 4-2 victory. Alex Stalock started in this game as well. Sharks goal scorers were Joe Thornton and Brent Burns.

Storylines

  • Alex Stalock will start in net for the Sharks tonight. As mentioned above, he also started last time the Sharks faced Ottawa and it didn’t go so well. Better things tonight please, Alex!
  • Tomas Hertl has picked up the pace in scoring recently, with three goals and three assists in his last five games (since getting a line change). The Sharks have also won all of those games.
  • This is the fourth game of a western road trip for the Senators. They lost their first two, but beat the Kings on Saturday. Good work, Ottawa./
