Tierney, Goldobin, Meier, Roy among development camp invites
Unsigned 2013 2nd rounder Gabryel Boudreau was also invited.
Rookies from last season in Chris Tierney, Barclay Goodrow and Mirco Mueller, 2014 1st rounder Nikolay Goldobin and San Jose's top two picks in the 2015 draft Timo Meier and Jeremy Roy are among the highlights of the team's development camp roster which was released today. The camp begins Monday and includes a Thursday night split-squad scrimmage at SAP Center for which tickets are available to the public.
Other prospects of note invited to the camp include Joonas Donskoi, a 23-year-old unsigned Panthers pick who tore up the SM-liiga last season and was inked to an entry-level deal by the Sharks last month; Rourke Chartier, leading goal scorer on the WHL champion Kelowna Rockets; Kevin Labanc, who scored over 100 points in his draft+1 season this year in the OHL; and Daniel O'Regan, who was Jack Eichel's regular linemate at Boston University. Interestingly, 2013 2nd round pick Gabryel Boudreau, who wasn't offered a contract by the Sharks and was eligible to re-enter this year's draft, is on the list of invites.
