Tommy Wingels injured, questionable to return
Wingels' exit leaves San Jose a man short up front.
UPDATE (7:37 PT): Pete DeBoer says Wingels is "probably out for a little while." He'll travel with the team to Carolina tonight.
#SJSharks DeBoer on Wingels, "We'll have more tomorrow, but he's probably out for a little while."

5:44 PT: Tommy Wingels left the game in the first period of tonight's game against the Panthers after losing an edge attempting a hit and sliding awkwardly into the boards. Melker Karlsson took his place on the third line while various Sharks forwards took turns filling in on the fourth.
Wingels got up on his own after the collision but went right down the tunnel with the trainer, and the Sharks announced that he's questionable to return. We'll have more information when it's available.
