Welcome to the new Fear the Fin

Hello and welcome!

I am thrilled to show off and introduce you to the new Fear the Fin. After much work, a bit of scrambling and a lot of help from the Fear the Fin community, we are now independent. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.

It looks a little sparse now. We're in the process of transferring over the posts from the previous site. We'll have the content soon, though, sadly, the comments will not be transferred with them.

Our main goal with this site is to give you a place where you can stay updated with what's happening with the San Jose Sharks and talk to your fellow Sharks fans. Most of the content you receive will be free. This is a community first site. That said, there will be some in-depth reporting and statistical analysis that we will look to provide in the coming year and that may reside behind a paywall. It's not in place yet and we will give you a heads up when it is.

We're still working out the details of a budget and while I have no problem paying myself a small stipend until we get going, I want to pay my writers more. In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out advertising packages to help make that happen, so spread the word.
