I almost felt a little sorry for the Blackhawks during this game, seeing as how they had dedicated the evening to an effort at atoning for the franchise’s neglect under its previous owner. Almost.
What impressed the post was how Patrick Marleau continues to play like he gets it. While full judgment on this will have to wait until the playoffs — actually, judgment on the team period must wait until then — they way they’re playing now is nothing but encouraging for the post-season.
