I am not altogether certain what to say. Other than, at the risk of stating the obvious, the Sharks were out-worked, out-hustled, out-played, and out-everything else by a Coyotes team which made it painfully clear throughout how much more they were interested in playing tonight than San Jose. Apparently they couldn’t be bothered. Add to this sloppy and slovenly play in their own end featuring loosey-goosey puck handling… gee, what a surprise they lost. Hey, great time to go into a funk, with Dallas and Detroit coming into town this week.
Okay, you’re not going to win every game. That said, you are supposed to actually show up and play every game. I’m still waiting for the Sharks to arrive for tonight’s contest. Oh, wait, that’s right — the game is already over.
