They’re starting WHO in goal?  This game just became even more interesting than it already was… which was a lot.  Welcome to the NHL, Thomas Griess.

Meanwhile, Kyle McLaren is on IR with a bum knee and Steve Bernier is missing tonight’s game with the flu.  Alexei Semenov and Rob Davison are taking their place.  Lots of line shuffling as a result (like Ron Wilson needs an excuse for line shuffling).

The Ducks are proving that one player can indeed make a difference, as since Scott Niedermayer came back the winning percentage is way up, goals for are up, goals against are down, power play is up, penalty kill is up.  Other than that, the man hasn’t done a thing.

AFTER THE FIRST PERIOD: Griess is looking okay.  Sharks are looking good overall.  Torrey Mitchell is going to get a call from Ducks Unlimited if he keeps this up.

AFTER THE SECOND PERIOD: Great goal in this period for the Sharks, fluky one for the Ducks.  Sharks to stay out of the penalty box; they’re living dangerously in that regard.

AFTER THE THIRD PERIOD: AAARGH!!!

AFTER OVERTIME: DOUBLE AAARGH!!!
