Deep Blue Sea: Pacific Division All-Star Champs

Brent Burns and the Pacific Division crew have won their third All-Star Game in the three years. Burns totaled three points and three shots on goal in the 3-on-3 tournament. Vancouver Canucks rookie, Brock Boeser, took home the MVP honors.

In more Pacific Division news, Jaromir Jagr has been placed on waivers for purposes of contract termination. He’ll be available for the rest of the league, but should he go unclaimed, he’ll be pursuing opportunities in Europe. It’s been a rocky year for the legend, but there’s no reason he shouldn’t finish it out in this league.

With the All-Star break, there isn’t much to share in terms of news, but at least some of them are spending the days off in Vegas:
