It’s finally here. Opening night. No pressure.
There’s not a whole lot of change from last year’s line up, Patrick Marleau aside. Kevin Labanc is on the top line with the Joes, Joonas Donskoi is reunited with Logan Couture on the second line, and Timo Meier rounds out the third line with Hertl and Hansen. Ryan Carpenter, Barclay Goodrow, and Tim Heed are tonight’s scratches. We already know what to except from this Sharks team.
The Flyers are debuting second-overall pick, Nolan Patrick. He’ll be one to look out for tonight.
Fear the Fin collaborated with Broad Street Hockey for their pregame video series. You can watch that here.
Keep in mind that the puck drop might come a little late, between pregame festivities and being a late national broadcast.
