FTF Podcast: It’s A Wonderful Life

In the ninth edition of the Fear The Fin podcast, Plank and Taylor break down the monumental game three victory that saw the Sharks comeback from a four goal deficit, score five goals in the second period to tie the game, and win it in overtime with a goal by none other than Devin Setoguchi.

We look at players who had excellent games– Vlasic, Demers, Clowe, the second and third line– and attempt to wrap our heads around what is bound to be a classic playoff tilt that Sharks fans will be talking about for years upon years to come.

Seriously, what did we just watch again? Is this real life?

Other topics include the question of whether to start Niemi or Niittymaki in game four (we both say you roll Niemi), how does the team respond to the emotions of the game (not too high not too low), why did McLellan roll ten forwards all night (Eager and Mayers had less than five minutes of ice time between them), and what was said during the first intermission (if walls could only speak…).

All in all, it’s a typical podcast party. And we hope you come along for the ride.
