Jo Paw-velski finds a new home

The San Jose Sharks and the Humane Society Silicon Valley have announced that Sharks’ good luck charm Jo Paw-velski (a three month old black kitten) was adopted, along with another cat, by a local family on Friday the 13th, which I think is incredibly fitting.

Jo Paw-velski, for those who don’t know, (how could you not know??) was found wandering the ice before the Sharks’ first second round game on April 29. Jo was placed in the care of the humane society and was named after the Sharks’ captain a few days later. Here’s the video:

I’m very glad that Jo is getting a happy ending and I hope she’ll make an appearance at another Sharks game, we’ll take all the good luck we can get. I have to admit I’m a little disappointed that Pavelski didn’t adopt her himself, though.

If you’re interested in adopting one of Jo’s friends from the Humane Society Silicon Valley, you can reach them here.
