The first round may end as early as tonight, depending on the result of the Nashville/Anaheim game. There will be no hockey tomorrow for the first time since the start of the playoffs, so…I guess we’ll have to figure out something else to do.
Game 1: Anaheim (3-2) vs. Nashville (2-3)
Time: 5 p.m. PST
TV: CNBC
Stream: Live Extra
Why you should watch: This may be the last time either of these team’s play before taking on the Sharks in the second round. Now’s the time to get absolutely sick of looking at these hideous jerseys so we can start with a little energy in round two. I’m hoping for a game seven, so that’s your rooting interest tonight.
Game 2: Chicago (3-3) vs. St. Louis (3-3)
Time: 5:30 p.m. PST
TV: NBC Sports
Stream: Live Extra
Why you should watch: It’s game seven! That should be reason enough. I know this is where I’ll be drifting during intermission breaks of the early game.
